From an early age, I have always loved caring for things - from stuffed animals to pets, to plants and people. As one of the Registered Nurses at Saint Andrew’s, it is a true joy to care for your children while they are at school and it makes my heart full to help them as they grow.
After graduating from college with a bachelors' degree in Psychology, I decided to take a different approach to caring for people and pursued a career in Nursing. Prior to St. Andrew's, I specialized in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation before starting my own family. Most recently I worked at a birth center with my St. Andrew's co-nurse Hilary Smalley, RN, where we specialized in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care outside of a hospital setting. Life is always evolving and as a mother of school-age children, I wanted to join the wonderful world of school nursing with the mission of providing support to families who are wanting the best for their children when they are away from them, just as I do for my own.
When I am not in the Health Room, I am a mom to 8-year old twins - a boy and a girl - and a 1-year old girl - who keep me busy, laughing, and never knowing what to expect! My husband and I love good food, fun trips, loud music, and being out on the water as much as possible. Coming soon!
