I have worn many hats in my time at Saint Andrew’s including First Grade Teacher, Technology Director, and now Director of Teaching & Learning. I’m also the Summer at Saint Andrew’s Director and oversee the After School Enrichments and tutoring programs. I was recognized as the Saint Andrew's Teacher of the Year in 2017.

Throughout the school year, I typically offer several enrichment programs including LEGO Mania, moviemaking, robotics, and kickball. I am also available for academic support after school.

I grew up in DC and, apart from my college years in California, have pretty much stayed in the area. I enjoy opportunities to get out and explore—especially on sunny days when I can take the doors off my Jeep! Students are constantly surprised to learn I go for hikes almost every weekend and don’t spend my free time playing video games (I don’t play any video games) or just watching movies (though I do enjoy going to the movie theater and often go on Thursday nights for the first showing of new releases).

My office is filled (overflowing?) with pop culture references and memorabilia, particularly from Marvel, Pixar, and Harry Potter. I enjoy going out to trivia games with friends and colleagues and utilizing from my vast pop culture knowledge.

I base all of my teaching around one idea: have fun!
