I'm a Third Grade Teacher at Saint Andrew's. I teach grammar, writing, social studies, math, reading, cursive, and spelling.

I am a wife and a mom to two beautiful girls and one crazy Jack Russel Terrier. Both my girls have attended Saint Andrew’s since preschool. My eldest graduated in 2020 and my youngest is in middle school. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities and napping. We are a very busy family with the girls' extracurricular activities. When we have downtime, we enjoy family movie nights, hiking, biking, or swimming and getting away to Deep Creek. I am a Starbucks fanatic and love Harry Potter!

My teaching philosophy is to strive to provide engaging, fun, and interactive lessons that meet each individual student's developmental (social, emotional, or academic) needs by pushing them to meet their full potential. I use flexible seating in my classroom and incorporate various teaching strategies into my instruction. In addition, I presented at the Innovative Classroom Conference for AIMS in 2018.
