What a great week for Blue Heron Athletics!

Cross country had a tough race on a beautiful course this week. Billy Jaeger pushed himself through two miles to come out on top for the boys. Alex Snavely put the pedal to the metal and led the girls to a fourth place finish. Tuesday, the Herons played St. Paul’s School and gave a great offensive performance. And look at those FANTASTIC new XC uniforms!

Blue Herons Soccer won both games this week!

The Blue Herons defeated St. Paul 5-0 on Tuesday. The Herons controlled the ball for most of the game thanks to strong play at the midfield from Lawson Cate and James MartinoLaila Fernandes scored her first goal of the year for the Herons and 5th graders Mason Bieberich added a goal at the end.

The Herons faced off against Calverton School on Wednesday and won 5-0. The Herons defense suffocated Calverton's offense, only allowing one shot to be taken on goal. Michael Burns continues to put up points for the Herons, scoring his 13th and 14th goal of the season.

The Blue Herons look to get another win against Summit School on Thursday and continue to improve on their 6-1 record.
