I began my career at Saint Andrew’s UMDS in 2019. I’m certified to teach K-6th Grade and have a strong Graphic Design background, including a Master of Arts in Publication Design. I have experience working as a digital imaging technician and as a production artist for a newspaper. Prior to teaching, I was in operations management, including over 10 years managing automated facilities.
Consequently, I’ve been able to wear many hats at our school, from Home Room Teacher, to Middle School Art, 5th grade Math, and now teaching Educational Technology. I am excited to use this expertise in my role, teaching Educational Technology at Saint Andrews. I will be utilizing technology as a tool to help students engage in their existing schoolwork and learn to incorporate technology in the classroom.
When not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I can often be found doing something creative. I am not a very good cook, so thankfully I married a chef! We have two wonderful daughters and two dogs.
